Course overview
The Master of Marketing provides a specialised coursework program designed for marketing professionals looking to enhance their current skills or for those seeking a career change to this exciting, fast-paced field. The core curriculum provides an integrated, systematic understanding of market-driven business strategies and decision-making including market research, consumer behaviour, product and brand management, promotional design, internet and social media marketing and marketing analytics.

What you will study
To complete the Master of Marketing, you must fulfil 120 credit points (CP). This comprises 80 CP of compulsory subjects and 40 CP of general electives or a specialisation.
Required subjects
Students must complete the following seventy credit points 70 CP of subjects.

- Consumer Experiences and Behaviours (10 CP)
- Integrated Marketing Communications (10 CP)
- Market Research (10 CP)
- Digital Marketing for Customer Engagement (10 CP)
- Marketing Analytics (10 CP)
- Strategic Marketing (10 CP)
Statistics option
Students must choose ten credit points 10 CP of the following subjects.
- Business Statistics (10 CP)
- Quantitative Methods (10 CP)
General electives
Students must choose 40 CP of postgraduate subjects from across the university that are available as general electives. Alternatively, students can tailor their study with an optional specialisation, which will replace the 40 CP of elective subjects.
Entry requirements
To be considered for admission to this degree, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of a recognised bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field.
If you don't currently hold the required academic qualifications, there are alternative pathways. You may use prior work experience to apply for entry into this program. To do so, you will need to provide documentation of your employment history, including a statement from your employer about your position, time in the role and a brief overview of the role you performed.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If you have completed previous tertiary studies, you may be able to gain credit for previous subjects. To apply, you will need to submit your academic transcripts to the Office of Future Students, including detailed subject outlines or course descriptions for each relevant subject.
