Course overview
The Graduate Diploma in International Relations provides a basic foundation in the key theoretical, conceptual and thematic issues in International Relations.
The course articulates with the 18 unit Graduate Certificate in International Relations and the 72 unit Master International Relations and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the three awards.
The course is also available as an exit award from the 72 unit Master of International Relations subject to meeting the requirements in the Program of Study below. In order to be able to exit with the Graduate Certificate in International Relations students must indicate their intention to not proceed with the primary degree and request that they exit with the Graduate Diploma in International Relations.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Students who have completed a Graduate Certificate in International Relations or an approved equivalent but not an undergraduate degree must also meet a GPA requirement.
However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.

The annual indicative fee is based on a full-time study load of 36 units.
