What you will study
To graduate with a Master of Professional Accounting, you must complete 160 credit points. Each unit is valued at 10 credit points.
Essential units (40 credit points)
Complete the following:
- Principles of Accounting
- Business and Company Law
- Principles of Finance
- Economic Analysis
Entry requirements
Depending on your prior qualifications, work experience or other recognised prior learning, you may be able to complete your degree in less time. Applicants can qualify for entry to this degree by fulfilling the admission points below:
2-year program - Foundation zone, Core zone (160 credit points).
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent.
1.5-year program - Core zone (120 credit points)
You must have one of the following:
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent.
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent and two years of relevant approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning.
English language requirements.
When applying to study at Macquarie University, you’re required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.
