Establishing and maintaining good governance in an organisation demands awareness of regulatory risk where managers must navigate compliance within an increasingly complex and global corporate environment.
In this double degree, you’ll develop your management capabilities and learn to apply specialist knowledge to complex global regulatory and management challenges. Importantly, you’ll gain an advanced understanding of regulation risk and the management skills to introduce compliance mechanisms that will help achieve organisational goals and ensure legal compliance.

Entry Requirements
- An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a major or minor** in a cognate discipline* with at least a high credit (65%) average or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA); OR
- An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant professional experience***.
*Cognate disciplines include: arts, business, commerce, economics, engineering, law, management, humanities,science or social science disciplines
**A minor is at least four units (equivalent to 24 Monash credit points).
***Applicants applying on the basis of work experience are required to provide a detailed curriculum vitae, outlining their employment history and professional experience.
English requirements
For entry to Monash University, you must meet the minimum English language requirements. You can do this by completing one of the qualifications listed.
You need satisfactory completion of one of the following:
- the equivalent of an Australian VET Certificate IV course (AQF Level 4), or higher, that has been approved by the faculty as requiring sufficient English skills
- study in an English medium educational institution equivalent to at least 24 Monash credit points (one semester of full-time study) at Australian VET diploma level (AQF Level 5) or higher
- at least two units of higher education study (to a minimum 12 points), of which at least one is an English-rich unit, taken as part of an award or non-award course
- an Australian masters by research or doctoral degree, or equivalent, from an English medium institution.
The University does not accept competency-based qualifications as meeting English language requirements.
