What you will study
To complete the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, you must complete four core units of the MBA program and select a further four units from a list of five MBA option units.

Select four units (24 credit points) from the following options:
- Data Analysis and Decision Making
- Accounting for Decision Making

Entry requirements
You must either have a:
- Recognised bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale) and a minimum of three years full-time post-degree Work experience with a minimum of two years relevant professional work experience and one year of minimum supervisory/management experience; or
- Recognised postgraduate degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale) and a minimum of three years full-time post-degree work experience with a minimum of two years relevant professional work experience and one year of minimum supervisory/management experience; or
- Minimum of seven years of work experience with a minimum of six years of relevant professional work experience and one year of supervisory/management experience.

You may also be required to attend an interview with the MBA director or nominee.

Fees and FEE-HELP
Estimated first-year tuition fee in 2026: $13,600 (domestic full-fee paying place).
All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 48 credit points (normally four units) per year.
A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:
- The number of units studied per term.
- The choice of major or specialisation.
- Choice of units.
- Credit from previous study or work experience.
- Eligibility for government-funded loans.
You may also need to pay the student services and amenities fee.
