What you will study
To complete the Graduate Diploma in Project Management, you must fulfil a stream, comprising eight courses (subjects).
You can choose from four streams, depending on what you would like to specialise in.

- Project Design for Quality
- Managing Project Teams
- Evaluating and Managing Project Risk
- Project Financial Management and Appraisal
- Project Initiation Management
- Information and Technology Management

Entry requirements
Academic requirements
To be eligible for admission to the program, you must have one of the following:
- Successfully completed an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent overseas qualification).
- Undertaken a minimum of five years of professional work experience in a related industry. Applicants with less than five years of senior-level professional experience may also be considered.
To have your professional experience considered, you must submit with your application a CV and a personal statement detailing your experience.
Suppose your qualification was completed more than 10 years ago. In that case, you will need to provide evidence of ongoing professional work and/or professional development in the same discipline as the program for which you are seeking entry to be granted credit.

Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will have the skills and knowledge required to analyse, synthesise and apply complex project management theory to a range of industry issues and use this knowledge to implement new and effective strategies and paths forward. This knowledge, combined with ongoing learning about industry developments, will enable graduates to design solutions tailored to the needs of various stakeholders and projects.
Graduates will also build core skills in communication, decision-making, planning and teamwork, as well as the ability to critically examine and reflect on professional practice, ensuring they are effective members of any team, project or organisation.

Estimated first-year tuition fee in 2026: $35,520 (domestic full-fee paying place).
Additional expenses:
- Student services and amenities fee (SSAF): $373 maximum fee for 2026.

All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 96 credit points (normally eight units) per year.
