Course overview

Data is shaping how organisations solve problems, identify opportunities and make decisions across almost every industry. The Graduate Certificate in Data Science is designed for professionals looking to build a strong foundation in data science by developing the analytical, statistical and programming knowledge needed to work confidently with data in a wide range of professional settings.

Rather than focusing on individual technologies alone, the program develops an understanding of the complete data lifecycle, from working with data and applying statistical techniques to interpreting results and communicating insights effectively. As your knowledge grows, you'll strengthen your ability to approach complex problems with evidence-based thinking and apply data science principles to practical business and industry challenges.

Delivered 100% online and completed part-time over eight months, the program provides a direct pathway to the Graduate Diploma and Master of Data Science. Combining core technical foundations with practical analytical capability, it offers a structured introduction to one of today's fastest-growing professional fields.
