Entry requirements

Academic requirements

To gain entry into the Master of Logistics Management, an applicant must meet one of the following entry requirements:

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree with honours in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution.
  • Completion of a graduate diploma or graduate certificate in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution.
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in the same or a related discipline* from a recognised institution; and completion of at least three years of relevant full-time professional experience.
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in a non-related discipline; and completion of at least four years of relevant full-time professional experience.
  • Evidence of other qualifications and professional experience to be assessed as acceptable grounds for admission into the program by the relevant Program Authority. In certain circumstances, students may be required to undertake and successfully complete a relevant non-award course as a condition for admission into the program. This non-award course may also be credited towards the program upon admission.

*Related discipline/s: Business, management, economics, accounting, information technology, engineering, human resource management, project management, supply chain and law.

  • Students will be able to utilise enquiry-based learning and critical analytical skills to develop logistics domain knowledge.
  • Students will be able to undertake advanced independent research in order to clarify complex problems in different areas of logistics in ways that reflect uncertainties.
  • Students will be able to develop advanced disciplinary knowledge and skills in logistics management, and the ability to apply these in a range of contexts to create novel solutions.
  • Students will be able to analyse how logistics integrates with other aspects of organisational systems and operations to optimise contextually appropriate solutions and be able to offer useful, implementable advice to organisational leaders.

Indicative first-year full fee in 2025: $40,000 (domestic full-fee paying place)

The amount you pay will vary depending on the calendar year of enrolment, the courses you select and whether your study load is more or less than one Equivalent Full Time Student Load (48 UOC per year).

A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:

  • Credit from previous study or work experience.
  • Eligibility for government-funded loans.
