Curtin University’s Master of Cyber Security is designed for IT, computational science and engineering professionals seeking to add advanced cyber security expertise to their existing technical capabilities. The course focuses particularly on protecting networks and information infrastructure against evolving security threats.
You will examine data and network security, intrusion detection, incident handling, digital forensics, penetration testing and secure DevOps. Academic requirements
To be eligible for this course, you must meet one of the following:
- Hold a recognised three-year bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computational Science or Engineering and have at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a recognised four-year bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computational Science or Engineering.
English-language requirements
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to:
- IELTS Academic overall band score of 6.0, with a minimum score of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- An alternative English-language test or eligible qualification accepted by Curtin, provided you meet the required equivalent scores and conditions.
