Deakin University’s Graduate Certificate of Digital Finance provides a focused introduction to the technologies changing financial markets, products and services. It suits professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of digital finance and its implications for organisations and financial decision-making.

The course explores financial market innovation, FinTech principles, cryptocurrencies and enterprise applications of artificial intelligence. You will develop the ability to interpret and communicate financial information, evaluate complex data and identify technology-enabled solutions to business problems.

You can tailor part of the course through an elective in financial data analytics, digital transformation, digital ethics or finance fundamentals. Students entering without a finance background are encouraged to select Principles of Finance in their first trimester.

The course can be completed at Deakin’s Melbourne Burwood Campus in six months of full-time study or the part-time equivalent, depending on your intake. Graduates may pursue opportunities in FinTech, risk, consulting and investment operations or use the qualification as a pathway into eligible Deakin Business School master’s degrees.
