Bond’s Graduate Certificate in Business is ideal for managers with an undergraduate degree in any discipline who want to acquire management skills in one short semester.
The classes combine basic theoretical knowledge in business with practical insights delivered through case studies, guest lectures and work-integrated learning. Team building is encouraged through group projects, and communication skills are enhanced through class presentations.
Upon completion, students may wish to pursue the Master of Business or an alternative program. This program provides students with a strong knowledge of modern business and management fundamentals and the skills to move into a leadership role.

What you will study
Students are required to complete a total of 40 credit points. This comprises 20 credit points of business school electives and 20 credit points of general electives from across the university.
Bond Business School Postgraduate Electives
- Students may choose from Bond Business School (BBS) postgraduate subjects.
Students must choose twenty credit points (20) for postgraduate subjects from across the university, provided requirements are met.
University Postgraduate Electives
- Students may choose from all postgraduate subjects available as general electives across the University.
Entry requirements
To be considered for admission to this degree, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of a recognised bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field.
If you don't currently hold the required academic qualifications, there are alternative pathways. You may use prior work experience to apply for entry into this program. To do so, you will need to provide documentation of your employment history, including a statement from your employer about your position, time in the role and a brief overview of the role you performed.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If you have completed previous tertiary studies, you may be able to gain credit for previous subjects. To apply, you will need to submit your academic transcripts to the Office of Future Students, including detailed subject outlines or course descriptions for each relevant subject.
