What you will study

You are required to complete a total of 80 credit points. This is comprised of 60 credit points of sport management options and 20 credit points of general electives from across the university.

Students must complete the following 60 credit points of subjects.

  • Global Sports Law and Governance
  • Managing People
  • Leading Innovation and Change
  • Marketing Fundamentals
  • International Sport Business
  • Managing High Performance Sport
  • Business Statistics

General electives

Students must choose 20 credit points of postgraduate subjects from across the university that are available as general electives.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of a recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a field related to sports management, including fields in law, management and commerce and exercise and sports science.

Alternative entry option

You may use prior work experience to apply for entry into this program. To do so, you will need to provide documentation of your employment history, including a statement from your employer about your position, time in the role and a brief overview of the role you performed.

Indicative total program fee in 2026: $46,370 (domestic full-fee paying place).

All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 80 credit points (normally eight subjects) per year.
