What you will study
Students completing the 12-unit MBA will complete all of the core units as well as a three-unit specialisation of their choice or three electives.

Entry requirements
Academic requirements
To gain entry to the MBA (Accelerated), you will need one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least three years of relevant supervisory/management experience.
- Equivalent prior learning including at least five years of relevant professional experience, with at least three of those years at supervisory/management level.
English language requirements
Applicants must also meet English Language Requirements (Band 4). This can include IELTS Academic - Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0).
Recognition of Prior Learning
Eligible students can fast-track their MBA and complete their degree in nine units by applying for recognition of prior learning. To gain entry, applicants must:
- Have an Australian bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in business/commerce.
- Have a minimum of three years of relevant supervisory/management experience.
- Meet English Language Requirements (Band 4). This can include IELTS Academic - Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0).
Students must apply after they accept the offer for the 12-unit master's to gain entry to the fast-track master's degree. Applications for the fast-tracked master's degree are subject to ECU’s assessment.
*Bachelor's degree must be completed within the last 10 years.

The cost for all 12 units in 2025: $65,340 up to $65,840 (domestic full-fee paying place)
The cost for nine units in 2025: $50,130 (domestic full-fee paying place)
A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:

- Credit from previous study or work experience.
- Eligibility for government-funded loans.
