Entry requirements
To be considered for entry into this course, you must have:
- An undergraduate degree.
- At least two (2) years of documented professional work experience.
- A GMAT/GMAT Focus Edition or GRE score. As a guide, recent students have achieved an average GMAT of 695 or higher.
Applicants who hold an undergraduate degree awarded from an Australian or New Zealand university and do not wish to apply for scholarships are not required to have a GMAT/GMAT Focus Edition/GRE.
You must submit:
- An up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV).
- Four personal statements relating to your goals and how you can contribute to the program.
- Evidence of all qualifications completed and incomplete, including academic transcripts with grading schema.
- A valid passport or verified document showing current citizenship/residency status.
- The names and contact details of two professional referees.
English language requirements
All applicants to the University of Melbourne must satisfy the English language requirements. This may be achieved in a number of ways, including a recognised previous study taught and assessed entirely in English or an approved English language test. If you need to undertake an English language test, you must meet one of the scores below:
- IELTS: Academic English test with a minimum score of 7.0 overall and with no individual band score less than 6.5.
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 102 (written score minimum 24 and no individual score lower than 21).
- Pearson: 72 + written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 64.
- Cambridge: N/A
Accepted tests: IELTS (Academic English Only); TOEFL Internet-based test; Pearson Test of English Academic; Cambridge English: Advanced/Certificate of Advanced English (CAE). If a test displays N/A, it means it is not accepted for this course.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Credit (recognition of prior learning) may be considered based on your professional qualification(s) or prior study of relevant subject(s) at a recognised academic institution. You can apply for credits for core subjects from these programs: Part-time MBA and Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (both face-to-face and online), Master of Marketing and Graduate Diploma in Marketing. The eligible core subjects are:

No other subjects are eligible for credit. Time limitations as well as a credit cap will apply according to the school's policy.

Fees and FEE-HELP
