What you will study

To complete the Global Executive Master of Business Administration, you must complete 12 units (72 credit points). It consists of Part A. Mastery knowledge, eight units (48 credit points) and Part B. Electives, four units (24 credit points).

  • Strategic Marketing Management (six credit points)
  • Accounting for Decision-Making (six credit points)
  • Corporate Finance and Global Financial Markets (six credit points)
  • Creativity and Entrepreneurship (six credit points)
  • Strategic Management (six credit points)
  • International Business (six credit points)

Part B. Electives

You must complete 24 credit points of electives from the following list of units:

Entry requirements

An Australian bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and a minimum of five years of work experience in a professional setting*.

*Applicants applying based on work experience are required to provide a detailed curriculum vitae outlining their employment history and professional experience.

Applicants are required to submit a short personal statement that will address the following questions:

  • Why a global mindset is required for a successful Global Executive MBA experience and outcome.
  • How the Monash Global Executive MBA will impact their professional career plans.
  • How they will draw on their business experience to contribute to the cohort’s peer learning.

Applicants reaching the final application stage will be required to attend an interview.

English language requirements

For entry to Monash University, you must meet the minimum English language requirements. You can do this by completing one of the qualifications listed on their website.

If you've completed several measures of English proficiency over a period of time, the highest valid measure will be accepted as long as it's been taken within the required time limitations.

Fees and FEE-HELP

Average 2025 first-year fee: $63,000 (domestic full-fee paying place)

All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 24 credit points (normally four units) per semester or 48 credit points (normally eight units) per year.

A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:

  • The number of units studied per term. 
  • The choice of major or specialisation.
  • Choice of units. 
  • Credit from previous study or work experience.
  • Eligibility for government-funded loans.
