Introduction to content marketing
- An introduction to content marketing strategies and models.
- Explore business goals, the role of content and mission statements.
- Identify customer needs and pain points.
Milestone: Create a content mission statement and video to present the pain points that the content will answer for your audience.
How you will learn
Through the Content and Social Media Marketing course, students will develop a comprehensive content and social media marketing plan and calendar. Students will strengthen their marketing strategy and apply their learning by producing three pieces of content, such as a blog, video plan or social media advertisement, which they will distribute and optimise.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Design, implement and deliver a content and social media plan that leverages the appropriate channels and tactics to develop brand awareness and increase business.
- Create, distribute and manage content through owned channels to grow and manage audiences and earnings.
- Critically analyse content and asset selection and justify its use in a content and social media plan.
