Who You Will Learn From
Professor Stephen Bartlett
Director, Sydney Nano
Dr Stephen Bartlett is a theoretical quantum physicist and Professor at the University of Sydney, where he also serves as Director of Sydney Nano. He leads major research programs in quantum information theory and quantum computing, including as a Chief Investigator with the ARC Centre of Excellence in Engineered Quantum Systems.
He is the inaugural Lead Editor of PRX Quantum and sits on several national and international advisory boards shaping Australia’s quantum future. A Fellow of the APS, AIP and Royal Society of NSW, he has led pioneering research at Sydney since 2005, spanning quantum computing, quantum materials and the foundations of quantum theory.
