Course overview

Assess property opportunities with a stronger understanding of the decisions that determine development viability. The course connects commercial analysis with technical and regulatory knowledge for professionals working across property, construction, valuation, planning and finance, or bringing related expertise into the sector.

Study how feasibility modelling, finance and valuation inform a development proposal. Examine market risk and property transactions alongside construction technology and regulation, connecting the financial case for a project with the constraints affecting delivery. The curriculum considers these areas within the wider property development process.

Complete 12 subjects online through a course designed for working professionals. Eight core subjects include a property development capstone, providing an applied project component through which to bring your learning together. The final four subjects give you a choice of a property sub-major or a flexible combination of approved electives. Options span valuation, commercial property management, development and facilities management, and urban planning. Further choices in sustainability, construction, analytics and negotiation allow you to focus your studies on property questions relevant to your interests.
