Course Overview

The MBA is geared towards managers who wish to focus on enhancing and enriching management and critical decision-making skills in national and international organisations. In addition, middle and senior-level managers undergoing challenging tasks in manufacturing and/or services sectors will find this programme useful for career growth.

APU-DMU Dual Degree Programme

Students under this programme will have the option to opt-in for the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Under this Scheme, students will receive two Degree Certificates and Transcripts upon graduation: one from Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU), UK.

Chartered Management Institute (CMI Accreditation)

Students have the opportunity to enroll for the APU-CMI Dual Accreditation by registering for a qualification through APU. Students under the Master of Business Administration course will have the option to also opt-in for a CMI L7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice which will be awarded subject to moderation by CMI.

Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification

To meet the entry requirements for the course you need to fulfil one the the requirements below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the Senate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.

English Language Requirement

  • IELTS : 6.0

Students from English speaking countries and those with qualifications taught in English (previous Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree taught in English) are exempted from English requirements. Applications for exemption must be accompanied by supporting documents.
