Course Overview
This programme is suited to people looking for a career in the accounting, finance and banking professions. Organised in terms of modules that emphasise both theory and relevant applications, the programme offers a systematic exposure to tools with which to analyse financial markets, banking operations, corporate financial decision making and accounting reports.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will have an understanding of fundamental issues, debates and problems related to the operations of financial systems at both micro and macro levels in the context of national and global economies.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Applicants must have one of the following academic qualifications:
- Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent
Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00* - Diploma (Level 4, MQF)
Minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00 - STPM
Minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any TWO subjects - Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF)
Minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 - Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
Minimum grade of Jayyid (good) - Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)
Subjected to Senate / Academic Board’s approval - Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)
Subjected to Senate / Academic Board’s approval - A-Level
2 passes - Senior Middle 3 (UEC)
5 B’s - CPU
5 passes with a minimum average of 50% - Australian Matriculation Programmes
University Aggregate of 50% or ATAR score of at least 50 for various programmes - Equivalent qualification
*Must be supported with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level. This requirement can be waived should the qualification contain Mathematics and/or English subject(s) with equivalent/higher achievement.
