Course Overview
This programme provides students with a solid foundation to kick-start their careers in accounting and finance. In addition to fundamental training in science, mathematics, and humanities, students will be exposed to various student development activities designed to improve their critical thinking and personal growth. The course trains students to become professional and ethical accountants who can meet market demands. Entry Requirements
Academic Qualification
To meet the entry requirements for the course, you need to fulfil one of the requirements below:
- STPM/A-LEVEL - Pass with a minimum of Grade C+ in 2 subjects, AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent.
- UEC - Pass with a minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics.
- Matriculation/Foundation - Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, or any equivalent qualification; AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent.
- Diploma - Pass a Diploma in Accounting or a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent.
- Others - Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
English Language Requirement
- Local Students: MUET Band 2.
- International Students: Required minimum score of 5.0 for IELTS or 500 for TOEFL or CERF (High B1) or its equivalent.
