Course Overview
The programme is designed for students to acquire a basic understanding of business administration and to develop the requisite administrative skills required in the job market. It provides opportunities to school leavers who wish to obtain a business administration qualification to embark on a business-related career. It also enables them to proceed to higher levels of studies.
Pathway to a degree
Graduates can proceed to Year 2 of TAR UMT's Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) or Bachelor of Corporate Administration (Hons) on credit transfer. You can also apply for admission into relevant bachelor degree programmes at TAR UMT or other universities on credit transfer.
Accessible and flexible
The TAR UMT Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Johor, Sabah and Pahang campuses offer intakes in June and November. For the Penang campus, an intake is available in June.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualification
To apply for this course, you must meet either one of the criteria below:
- SPM: Minimum three credits in the relevant subjects, and a Pass in Mathematics and English.
- O-Level: Minimum three Grade C in the relevant subjects, and a Pass in Mathematics and English.
- UEC: Minimum three Grade B in the relevant subjects, and Grade C in one Mathematics subject and English.
- Relevant certificate that is accredited by MQA.
- Relevant skilled/technical/vocational certificate that is accredited by MQA or recognised by the Malaysian government.
