The programme aims to provide students with a wide variety of courses in the field of Islamic Finance, which will help them become industry experts. The programme’s ultimate goal is to produce competent graduates who possess a strong understanding of the principles and concepts of Islamic Finance, as well as functional management and leadership skills.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualification
To meet the entry requirements for the course, you need to fulfil one of the requirements below:
Local Students
- Pass STPM or its equivalent with at least Grade C (GP2.0) in any two subjects, and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
- A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
- Any qualifications equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma with a CGPA of 2.50. (Candidates with a CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subject to an internal assessment process)
- Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
- Pass A-Level with minimum Grade D in TWO (2) subjects and a pass in Mathematics and English at O level or any equivalent qualification.
- Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 24 points.
- Pass Higher National Diploma (HND) UK (MQF Level 4) in related area and recognized by the government of Malaysia and according to approval by UniKL Senate.
- Qualification of 12 years of schooling with the following conditions:
- It is the highest school qualification in the country of origin.
- It can be used as an entry qualification for a bachelor’s degree programme in the country of origin.

Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) Qualification
- Pass Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subject to the approval of the Senate / Academic Board of the relevant institution.
- Pass the DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND have at least two (2) years of work experience in the related field.
International Students
- Students must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain a general pass in their High School Certificate, A-levels or equivalent with a minimum Grade C (60%) in any two subjects and pass (50%) in Mathematics and English in their Secondary School or O-level.
- English language requirement:
- IELTS - 5.5 or equivalent*
- TOEFL - PBT 525, CBT 167, IBT 120.
*UniKL accepts other English proficiency certificates such as Pearson (PTE), MUET, Cambridge (CFE, CAE, CPE).
Note: Arabic language requirements:
- Students must undergo an Arabic language enhancement course at the beginning of the programme except for candidates with a pass in the Arabic language at STPM/ STAM/ Matriculation/ Foundation/ Diploma or equivalent/ higher.
- Students must pass the Arabic enhancement course as a prerequisite to related core courses. However, this still allows students to take core and non-core courses that do not require an Arabic language enhancement course.
- Credit for the Arabic language enhancement course is additional to the programme and can be considered for the graduating credit.
