Course Structure
The online DBA programme is 100% coursework with five compulsory subjects and a dissertation to complete. There is no comprehensive examination and no final examination.
The dissertation is assessed and graded with “satisfactory” or “pass”, “unsatisfactory” or “fail”, which will not be included in the CGPA calculation.
Lessons will also include doctoral seminars to provide industrial perspectives to candidates.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualification
To meet the entry requirements for the course, you need to fulfil one of the requirements below:
- A Master’s Degree in related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate.
- A Master’s Degree in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment.
- A Master’s Degree in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to certain prerequisite requirement courses.
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree recognised by the Malaysian Government.
English Language Requirement (For International Students only)
- 6.0 for IELTS
- 600 for TOEFL
- Band 4 in MUET OR its equivalent.
