Course Structure

The Doctor of Philosophy in Management programme comprises of five core subjects and a thesis to complete.

Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification

To meet the entry requirements for the course, you need to fulfil one of the requirements below:

  • A Master’s Degree in Business or other related discipline.
  • A Master’s Degree in non-related fields with relevant working experience.
  • A Master’s Degree in non-related fields without relevant working experience, subject to passing prerequisite courses.
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
  • AND a written proposal in 500 words (English).

Candidates with excellent Bachelor’s Degree may be considered based on the following conditions:

  • Obtained a first-class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Obtained CGPA of at least 3.67 or equivalent.
  • AND a written proposal in 500 words (English).

English Language Requirement

International Students

  • 6.5 for IELTS
  • 600 for TOEFL or its equivalent.

Local Students

  • Credit in SPM English.
  • Pass an internal oral examination, with a minimum grade of C.
