Course Overview
The curriculum features specialisations in entrepreneurship and marketing (available at UOW's George Town campus) as well as digital business and finance (delivered at the university's Batu Kawan campus). Students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills developed from their core courses and specialisations in a practical way via experiential learning and internships.
Dual award
Students can choose to study the entire programme in Malaysia or spend one and a half years studying at the UOW campus in Australia. If you plan to study part of the course at UOW Australia, you will be awarded two degrees upon graduation: a Bachelor of Business from UOW Australia and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business Management from UOW Malaysia.
These are the fees for the single award and dual award degrees:
- Single award: RM62,250 (local students) or RM79,515 (international students)
- Dual award: RM76,050 (local students) or RM93,315 (international students)
Professional recognition
The course is accredited by CIMA, a leading professional body for managers and accountants. The university also has a partnership with the IBM Innovation Centre for Education.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualification
To apply for this course, you must meet one of the criteria below:
- STPM: 2 Principal Passes (2 Cs) or a CGPA of 2.00.
- UEC: 5 Credits (5 Bs).
- Diploma: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- Foundation/matriculation: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
English Language Requirements
An applicant is required to possess a sufficient level of English language proficiency by obtaining one of the following:
- Local student: Band 3 in MUET.
- International student: Band 5.5 in IELTS, a minimum score of 46 (IBT), 8 (Essentials-Online) in TOEFL, Cambridge English (160) or PTE Academic (51).
