Course Structure

The Doctor of Philosophy (Business) programme has two core modules, various fields of research, a proposal defence presentation session, thesis submission and viva voce.

Glenmarie campus

Local student: RM45,600 (full time/part time)

International student: RM59,250 (full time/part time)

 

George Town and Batu Kawan campuses

Local student: RM38,270 (full time), RM48,560 (part time)

International student: RM46,460 (full time)

Fees are estimation on overall completion of the programme. In any cases where there are credit exemptions, offered rebates or approval of scholarship applications, there may be a reduction in the fees. Fees for international students may differ from those for local Malaysian students.

Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification

To apply for this course, you must have completed the following:

  • Completion of a master's degree or an equivalent qualification.

English Language Requirements

An applicant is required to possess a sufficient level of English language proficiency by obtaining one of the following:

  • Local student: a minimum MUET overall band score of 5.
  • International student: a minimum band score of 6.0 in IELTS, 60 (IBT) or 488 (PBT) in TOEFL, or a score of 59 and above for the Pearson English test.

If the English language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at UOW Malaysia.
