Batu Kawan campus

Local student: RM33,640 (full time), RM35,240 (part time)

International student: RM44,460 (full time)

Fees are estimation on overall completion of the programme. In any cases where there are credit exemptions, offered rebates or approval of scholarship applications, there may be a reduction in the fees. Fees for international students may differ from those for local Malaysian students.

Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification

To apply for this course, you must meet either one of the criteria below:

  • A bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the senate.
  • A bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.
  • Other qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree recognised by the Malaysian government.

English Language Requirements

An applicant is required to possess a sufficient level of English language proficiency by obtaining one of the following:

  • Local student: a minimum MUET overall band score of 5.
  • International student: a minimum band score of 6.0 in IELTS, 8.5 in TOEFL Essentials, 60 (IBT), 169 in Cambridge English or 59 in the PTE Academic.

If the English language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at UOW Malaysia.
