This programme is designed to provide students with specialised skills in finance and the ability to develop financial management strategies. It offers a comprehensive study of critical concepts in finance, economics and accounting, with a specific emphasis on business finance in both domestic and international settings. Students will have access to Refinitiv during their coursework, enabling them to learn how to analyse financial markets, evaluate economic scenarios and interpret the key news developments that impact the global economy. Top-performing students will have the opportunity to pursue a scholarship for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level one examination.

Entry Requirements
Academic Qualification
To meet the entry requirements for the course, you need to fulfil one of the requirements below:
- A minimum of a grade C+ (CGPA 2.33) in two subjects at STPM level; OR
- A minimum grade of Jayyid in STAM; OR
- A minimum of a grade D in two subjects at A-Level; OR
- A minimum of a grade B (B5) in five subjects in UEC; OR
- Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 70 and a grade B in two subjects in SAM; OR
- An average of 80 per cent aggregate in six subjects in CPU; OR
- A minimum CGPA of 2.50 in foundation from UTAR; OR
- A minimum CGPA of 2.50 in foundation or matriculation from other higher learning institutes; OR
- A minimum CGPA of 2.50 in a diploma in finance, banking, insurance or an equivalent qualification in a related field; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
Note:
- All applicants must have a credit in mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level or equivalent.
- The credit requirement for mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level can be waived should the qualifications contain mathematics and English subjects with equivalent or higher achievement.
