Scholarships and financial aid
Scholarships
Currently, MILA University offers one scholarship scheme which is available to all Malaysian students undertaking foundation and undergraduate studies. The eligibility for the scholarship is determined by the student's final exam results, as well as any other academic requirements established by the university.
Additionally, students should not receive any other scholarship from external organisations. The scholarship amount will vary based on CGPA and the programme taken. To continue receiving the scholarship for every following semester, students must maintain the relevant CGPA.
Other forms of financial aid
Sibling incentives
MILA provides a sibling discount to students with siblings enrolled in the university's academic programmes. The offer is available to all students pursuing foundation and undergraduate studies. The discount amounts to 7.5 per cent of the net chargeable tuition fee and can be applied to each semester's payable fee during the eligibility period.
To qualify for the discount, all siblings must attend the university at the same time and for the regular course duration. Only the second and subsequent siblings will receive the discount, while the first student will pay the regular fee. All fees for a family's children must be paid by the due date to be eligible.
Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)
PTPTN is an agency under the Ministry of Education that provides study loans to students pursuing higher education in Malaysia. The loan is available to students in both public and private institutions of higher learning.
