The name HELP may be an acronym for “Higher Education Learning Philosophy”, but the university has literally “helped” countless students earn accredited degrees and elevate their careers.

Founded in 1986, HELP University was one of the first Malaysian higher education institutions to offer twinning programmes, providing students with affordable pathways to a distinguished degree overseas.

Students can complete the initial part of their studies at one of the two HELP University campuses in Malaysia. Then, they have the option to finish their course abroad and attain a degree from some of the world’s leading universities.

With twinning programmes, local students get a chance to broaden their horizons academically and culturally in countries like Australia, China and the United Kingdom without the financial burden of full-time overseas studies.

HELP University attained university status in 2011 and continues to provide a range of quality programmes in fields such as business, analytics and psychology.

The university’s Business Analytics and Technology Innovation Centre (BATIC) is a RM25 million facility comprising the Bloomberg Finance Lab and the Centre for Applied Research in Analytics (CARA). BATIC also serves as HELP University’s e-commerce startup incubation centre.
